Bradley Park
Located right in the heart of Jasper, Bradley Park features a calm swimming area along the Little Buffalo River surrounded by trees and scenic bluffs. It’s a great spot to cool off after exploring town or hiking nearby trails, with shaded picnic areas, a nice playground, and plenty of space to relax by the water.
Steel Creek
Surrounded by towering cliffs and lush forest, Steel Creek offers one of the most iconic swimming spots on the Buffalo National River. The deep, clear pool sits beneath Roark Bluff and is easily accessed from the campground. It’s a favorite for swimming, wading, and soaking in the incredible Ozark scenery.
Ozark Campground
Just north of Jasper, Ozark Campground features a peaceful swimming hole backed by bluff views and shaded gravel bars. The water here stays cool and clear, perfect for a dip on a warm afternoon. It’s a quiet, scenic setting ideal for families and those looking to unwind by the river.
Pruitt
A classic and accessible spot, Pruitt offers a couple of swimming areas near the Pruitt Ranger Station and Pruitt Landing along Highway 7. One is tucked beneath a bluff, another lies just downstream under a tall rock face. Picnic tables, restrooms, and easy parking make it a favorite place to cool off or start a float trip.
